Nigeria U17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, defeated Guinea 6–0 in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second-round qualifier on Sunday to complete an 11–0 aggregate victory and reach the final round, www.aclsports.com reports.

Having established a commanding 5–0 advantage in the first leg, the Flamingos produced another dominant display at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, to move one step closer to qualification for the tournament in Morocco.

Nigeria made a bright start and took the lead in the ninth minute through Oluwakemi Adegbuyi. The forward finished confidently to put the hosts ahead and set the tone for another one-sided encounter.

The Flamingos doubled their advantage in the 21st minute when captain Harmony Chidi, who scored a hat-trick in the first leg, got on the scoresheet. Two minutes later, Queen Joseph added a third goal as Nigeria continued to overwhelm their visitors with relentless attacking pressure.

Despite holding a comfortable aggregate advantage, the Flamingos maintained their intensity after the restart. Their persistence paid off in the 70th minute when Precious Oscar added the sixth goal of the afternoon to complete a comprehensive victory.

The result sends Nigeria into the third and final round of the qualification series, where they will face Benin for a place at the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. The first leg of the decisive tie is scheduled for 3–5 July, while the return leg will be played between 10 and 12 July.

Elsewhere in the final qualifying round, Senegal will face Ghana, Zambia will take on Ethiopia, while South Africa will meet Kenya.
