World XI: FIFPRO Lists 55 nominees

The International Federation of Professional Footballers, FIFPRO, has revealed its list of nominees for the World XI, dominated by European champions, Real Madrid, who have as many as 13 players nominated.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich and eight players nominated each, while the English Premier League had 13 players, with 6 of from Manchester United, whose neighbors, Man City, had zero nominees.

There were over 20000 professional footballers who were asked to select a team of 11 players, one in every position, and 55 players with the most votes were now shortlisted and revealed by Fifpro.
