Uchendu was amongst the goals for SC Braga as they defeated fellow title contenders CF Benfica 4-0 at home.

The Super Falcons forward scored the second goal of her side’s win six minutes into the game with a tap in after a timely cut-back from the right of SC Braga’s attack.

Uchendu almost added a third with a fierce left footed strike from outside the 18 yard-box but a brilliant save from the Benfica goalie denied her a brace.

Minutes later, she set up her team mate for what would have been another goal but was again denied by the goalkeeper. In all, it was a good performance for the Super Falcons forward who was replaced in the 68th minute as she helped her side to a third consecutive victory.

In Spain, player of the moment, Nigeria’s very own Asisat Oshoala was once again on target as she helped Barcelona Femeni to a 5-0 victory.

Oshoala scored the fourth goal of the five to increase her tally for the season and continue to constitute a problem for opposing teams.

The Super Falcons captain was then replaced in the 61st minute – 10 minutes after her goal as Barcelona Femeni defeated Logronyo by five unreplied goals at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.

Also in Spain, Osinachi Ohale was involved for CD Tacon as her side lost 0-3 at home to Levante Women.

Ngozi Okobi and Halimatu Ayinde were once again involved for Eskilstuna United as they defeated Kristianstad 5-0 in the Swedish Damallsvenskan at the weekend.

The Super Falcons duo put in another important performance for their side in the middle of the park and were rewarded with a convincing victory.

Faith Micheal was also involved for Pitea IF in centre back as they picked up a crucial point away from home.
