Volleyball Div 1: Correction Service pummel Sunshine Spikers

Nigeria Correction Service team formerly known as Prisons deservedly defeated Sunshine Spikers 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-19) on Day 2 of the ongoing National Volleyball League Division one in Bauchi.

The head coach of Nigeria Correction Boys, Adamu Nitte said the result against Sunshine Spikers was not a fluke attributing the feat to hard work and determination.

He said the correction boys belong to the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.

Nitte said, “Sunshine Spikers beat us in Kwara by 3-1 and when we got back home, the team returned to the drawing board. And to the glory of God, the team camped for close to three months and the world can see the result of adequate camping.

“My target is promotion to the Premier league; if we can win all our matches there are no doubt we will promote”.

He said the team will fight to earn every point at the ongoing division one.

“I told the players to key into the new name we were christened; “The Correctional Service” and use the new name and move on. My boys are not here for jamboree and we are going to fight for every point at the ongoing league”.

Nigeria Correction Service shockingly defeated Nigeria Army 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-14) on the Day one of the ongoing Division One League in Bauchi.
