The 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 tournament is set to kick off at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State, on Monday, www.aclsports.com reports.
Everything is in place for the season’s grand finale, set to be hosted at the home ground of reigning NPFL champions, Remo Stars.
Unlike the traditional playoff format seen in previous years, this edition carries a different edge, as all four contenders — Doma United, Ranchers Bees, Inter Lagos, and Sporting Lagos — have already secured promotion to the top flight.
The winner at the end of the Super 4 will take home N10 million, while the other participating teams will get N2 million each, courtesy of the sponsor, Toptier Sports Management. A locker room bonus scheme—backed by betting firm Betpawa—will also be in place, with every match victory earning ₦56,000 per player in the matchday squad, as well as three members of the technical crew.
Speaking ahead of the tourney, NNL head George Aluo assured that all arrangements had been put in place for a successful tournament, which he believes will be a great improvement to the Super 8 held at Asaba, Delta State.
“I must commend the Nigeria Football Federation, our sponsors, and NALCOMA for being on the same page with us as we go for the Super 4. Right now, we’re ready to go, and all arrangements have been put in place. The teams are well prepared, and I promise everyone an exciting tournament,” said an elated Aluo ahead of the tournament.
