The Final
Attention now turns to Oslo, where Barcelona and OL Lyonnes will meet in their fourth UWCL final showdown.
OL Lyonnes came out on top in the 2018/19 and 2021/22 finals, while FC Barcelona Femení claimed victory in their most recent meeting in the 2023/24 final. Barcelona will be chasing a fourth UEFA Women’s Champions League crown, while OL Lyonnes aim to extend their record with a ninth European title.
Adding another layer of intrigue to the final, OL Lyonnes head coach Jonatan Giráldez will come up against his former club, where he won two Champions League titles, and his former assistant, Pere Romeu, who now leads Barcelona from the dugout.
