3rd Youth AAG: Nigeria athletes to resume camping

Nigeria athletes will begin her camping exercise next week ahead of the forthcoming 3rd Youth All Africa Games, aclsports.com gathered.

The Sports ministry has directed the various secretary generals to submit the names of athletes to be invited to camp. The Championships is scheduled for July 19 to July 28 in Algiers.

The source told us that the resumption date will be scheduled for 19th to 24th May, 2018.

“What we intend to do is to ensure that the best player represent the country at the Youth All African Games by organizing a camping exercise. The players will be invited from the Youth Games, open camping in Abuja”.

He said that the ministry is always striving to develop young players by making sure that they compete at competition.

“If the young players compete at international event after good training, it is possible to see how far they have come and what can be done to improve them,” the source added
