The second phase of the 2023 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League is scheduled for 15th to 25th November in Abuja.

Elam said that his players know the challenges posed by opponents, expressing certainty that great things are coming from his team.

Elam said his team is going to avoid distraction and mistakes on the court in order to get valuable points.

He said, “We are expecting a tough second phase, however, we will approach every game with all seriousness as they come. There is nothing that is going to distract us from making our fans, supporters and the Nigerian Army proud.

“The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja through the Director of Physical Training in the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Bello has been supportive.

“They have created an enabling environment for the team to thrive; the only way we can compensate them is to get a slot to next year’s African Club Championship”.
