Plateau United new signing, Bernard Ovoke, has expressed delight with his new life following his move to the Jos based club. Ovoke left Rivers United for Plateau where he has put pen to paper on three-year contract until the summer of 2021.

The talented forward took to his social media account on Monday to express his joy, promising fans of the club they will “see the best of me.”

“[I ] am delighted as it’s a new life and beginning for me here with Plateau Utd,” he stated. “I promise to do my best for the club and for Jos fans. You will see the best of me.”

Ovoke, who has since resumed training with his new team mates, is one of eight new players signed by the 2017 NPFL winners as they continue to strengthen ahead of the 2018/2019 season.

The former Bayelsa United star joins up with manager, Abdu Maikaba, who also joined the club recently from fellow NPFL side, Akwa United.

Maikaba would be hoping that Ovoke plays a key role in helping United reclaim the NPFL crown from Lobi Stars, who lifted the title in 2018.

Ovoke spent three years at Rivers United.
