Super Falcons midfielder, Ngozi Okobi was on target as Eskilstuna recorded a crucial comeback win over Djurgardens in the Swedish Damallsvenskan on Sunday.

Okobi who made her 15th league start of the season scored a crucial goal which inspired a 3-2 comeback win as her team took all three points.

As the home side, Eskilstuna began the game in the best possible fashion and eventually broke the deadlock in the 38th minute, but were soon pegged back after the restart.

The away side found a new lease of life in the second half as two quick fire goals saw them take the lead thus, turning the game on its head.

It was Nigeria’s Okobi who provided the much needed fight, scoring her fourth goal of the campaign in the 87th minute to level the score before her teammate, Felicia Rogic added to her 38th minute opener to bag her brace and seal all three points for the Swedish side.

The win leaves Okobi and her compatriot, Halimatu Ayinde, who both played the entire duration of the game, seventh on the log and four points off the relegation zone with Eskilstuna United.

Similarly in Spain, Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala was on target as Barcelona Femeni continued their winning run at the weekend.

Oshoala scored the third goal on the day as the Liga Iberdrola Champions defeated Real Betis 5-0, making it her second goal in four games this season.

She was eventually replaced in the 70th minute as the Catalans remain undefeated this season.
