2018 World Cup: Nainggolan missing from Belgium squad

Belgium’s manager, Roberto Martinez, has announced his provisional squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, after he released the names of players invited on Monday.

Martinez has called up 28 players, with AS Roma midfielder, Radja Nainggolan, the only high profile omission.

Despite been an ever presence for Roma last season, making 28 Serie A appearances, Nainggolan finds himself excluded from the Red Devils’ world Cup team.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s unsettled midfielder, Marouane Fellaini, tops the list of players from the English Premier League included by  the former Everton manager.

Other players from the PL on the list include Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Tottenham duo, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
