The story of the 2025/2026 TCC Cup will feature one final chapter this weekend as Dino tackles Atlantic Business in the final of the competition, www.aclsports.com reports.

Both sides may have taken different routes till this point. But their journeys to the final have plenty in common. And with very little separating them, fans are set to enjoy a tense contest between two teams that have a strong shot at winning the trophy.

The final has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11th at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne. Kickoff is by 3:30pm.

ROAD TO FINAL – DINO SC & ATLANTIC BUSINESS

For Atlantic Business, their voyage to a first-ever TCC Cup final appearance began with a 2-2 draw against Sporting Lagos before their biggest win of the campaign- a 5-0 victory over Iganmu. They rounded things up in the group with two draws and another victory, garnering eight points.

They would go on to pip VOE 2-1 in the quarter-finals before hitting Gbagada for three to secure the final ticket. With 18 goals this season- and four of their five knockout goals coming in the 2nd half – the Business Team is ready to do business. But can they make it count when it matters?

Dino may have scored six goals less than their opponents. They however managed the same number of wins as Atlantic Business (4) this campaign, scoring in every TCC Cup game bar one.

Samuel Obudu’s stoppage-time winner against Imperial secured the first win of this odyssey to a third TCC Cup final appearance. Months later, they would defeat the same team, this time by a 4-1 margin, to secure their TCC Cup final ticket.

For all of their nearly-balanced scoring times (of their 12 goals, seven have come in the 1st half), they’ve only managed to keep one clean sheet in the competition this season. Up against an opponent that has averaged nearly three goals per game, Dino will have their work cut-out for them in this final. And speaking of goals…

PLAYERS TO LOOK OUT FOR

Dino’s Samuel Obudu has scored a quarter of the goals Dino have managed in the competition this season. In all, he has contributed to five goals so far, making him one of the stars to keep an eye out for – both by opponents and by the fans.

Like Samuel, Tobi Ewarawon has also contributed to five goals for Atlantic Business this season- 1 goal and four assists. Without a doubt, he’ll be looking to orchestrate some magic in this clash.

It’s the first meeting in the TCC Cup final between both sides. However, it’s a second fixture between both teams in the competition, with Dino defeating their counterparts 3-2 the last time they met.

Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne will host the #TCCCupFinal for a third time in the history of the competition. While Dino triumphed in 2022, Beyond Limits won on penalties in 2024. Two years on, will this one be settled in normal time or dragged into penalties?
