Rima Strikers HC player, Timothy Nzamwa has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to perform even better in the 2025 Ardova Handball Premier League.
After their impressive second-place finish in the 2024 season, Nzamwa believes that Rima Strikers are primed to take on the competition with renewed zeal and determination.
Nzanwa told www.aclsports.com that the performance of the team in the 2024 handball season shows the strength of Rima Strikers HC.
He said, “Finishing second in the 2024 Ardova Handball Premier League was a huge achievement for us. It showed the strength of our team, but I am confident that this year, we can do even better. We have all come back stronger, more focused, and with a clear goal in mind.
“We know the competition is tough, but we are ready for the challenge. I believe we can shock a lot of teams this year. We’ve set our sights on the title, and we’re not backing down.
Nzamwa highlighted the dedication and hard work of the current crop of players, who impressed during both phases of the league
He said, “Our players have shown an incredible level of commitment and passion; we have been putting in the work during the off-season, and the chemistry within the squad has grown stronger. We’re all more determined than ever to take things to the next level.”
The former Benue Buffaloes player said Rima Strikers can make a statement at the 2025 African Club Championship.
He said, “Some years back, the State Government sponsored the team to the club championship; I believe if this current squad is registered for this year’s African Club Championship, we are going to make a huge statement and surpass our previous records.”
