Nigeria U20 women’s national team, the Falconets, have been drawn in Group F of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup alongside Spain, China PR and New Caledonia, www.aclsports.com reports.

The draw for the 12th edition of the competition was held in Łódź, Poland, on Friday, with the tournament scheduled to run from 5 to 27 September 2026.

Two-time silver medallists, Nigeria, will face former champions Spain, Asian representatives China PR and tournament debutants New Caledonia in the group stage.

Hosts Poland were placed in Group A alongside Mexico, Argentina and Benin, while reigning champions Korea DPR headline Group E with Colombia, Costa Rica and Portugal.

Brazil, England, Canada and Tanzania make up Group B, while France, Korea Republic, Ghana and Ecuador were drawn in Group C. Group D consists of Japan, USA, New Zealand and Italy.

The 2026 tournament will mark the first time Poland hosts a major women’s football competition at global level, with matches set to be played in Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź and Sosnowiec.

Several countries, including African representatives Benin and Tanzania, as well as Ecuador, New Caledonia and Portugal, will make their debut appearances at the tournament.
