The President of Serbian Grappling Federation, Dejan Tešić has exposed 14 Nigerians who claimed to be Grapplers using the Nigeria Wrestling Federation as its parent body.

The names of the individuals involved in the visa racketeering were made available to www.aclsports.com

According to the content of the letter addressed to the Serbian Grappling Federation, it claimed that the above list is from the Nigeria Wresting Federation to represent Nigeria at a Grappling championship which will be held in Serbia on 17th November 2019 with a forged email address of the President NWF; DanielIgalipresident@gmail.com with a mobile number

Tešić upon receiving the mail contacted the Secretariat of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation who claimed the federation never at any point sent list of athletes to the Serbian Grappling Federation.

Speaking from Canada, the President of Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel Igali described the visa racketeering saga as unfortunate adding that the federation will get to the root of the matter.

He told www.aclsports.com the Nigeria Wrestling Federation is not sending a grappling team as the federation is trying to work with the police in apprehending the individuals involved.

He said, “I am shocked that some individuals will forge the letterhead paper of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation including my signature. The email was not sent from the official email of the United World Wrestling and the President of Serbian Grappling Federation, Dejan Tešić alerted the federation.

“The Wrestling Federation has not sent any grappling team list to Serbia and we will ensure the perpetrators of this shameful act will be brought to book”.
