Six-time African Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, scores as Al Hilal drew 1–1 with Al Ula in the Saudi Women’s Premier League on Friday, www.aclsports.com reports.

The Nigerian forward delivered in stoppage time, striking in the 90+1 minute to put Al Hilal ahead after a tense and closely fought contest. Her late effort looked set to hand her side maximum points before a dramatic twist at the death.

Al Ula responded deep into added time, with Selma Kapetanovic scoring in the 90+7 minute to snatch an equaliser and deny Al Hilal victory in the closing seconds.

Oshoala’s goal takes her tally to 10 league goals in 13 appearances, alongside three assists. Across all competitions, she has now recorded 17 goals and four assists, underlining her influence in front of goal this season.

The result leaves Al Hilal in fifth position on 20 points as they approach the final stretch of the campaign. They will round off their league season against Eastern Flames on Thursday, 23 April, before turning attention to a Saudi Women’s Cup semi-final clash with Al Qadsiah.
