African Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala scored a late winner to hand Al Hilal a thrilling 3–2 victory over Al Ittihad in the Saudi Women’s Premier League on Thursday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Oshoala, who was presented with her September Player of the Month award before kick-off, has now scored four goals in four matches since joining Al Hilal.

Leticia Nunes put Al Ittihad ahead in the 25th minute, but Portuguese forward Jessica Silva struck twice for Al Hilal, first levelling in the 40th minute before adding another just after the restart to put the visitors in front.

Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre assisted Algerian forward Lina Boussaha for an 85th-minute equaliser to make it 2–2, but Oshoala had the final say, scoring in the 90+3 minute to seal all three points and extend Al Hilal’s perfect start to four straight victories.

The result lifts Al Hilal to the top of the standings, with a clash against Al Nassr up next, while Al Ittihad remain in fourth and will face Al Qadsiah in their next outing.
