Edo Queens have sealed their Super Six spot in Group A, joining Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels, while FC Robo Queens extended their lead in Group B after a Matchday 15 defined by narrow wins and crucial points, www.aclsports.com reports.

At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, FC Robo Queens left it late but secured a 2-0 win over Abia Angels. Rodiat Yusuf broke the deadlock in the 86th minute before Opeyemi Ajakaye sealed the result in stoppage time, taking her season tally to six goals and extending Robo’s lead at the top to six points in Group B.

Osun Babes continued their survival battle in Ile-Ogbo, edging Nasarawa Amazons 1–0 for a second consecutive win. Sharon Shomuyiwa struck in the 32nd minute with a composed finish to secure all three points as the hosts gathered momentum in the lower half of the table.

At the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies and Sunshine Queens shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Victory Lucky gave Sunshine the lead midway through the first half before Kadijat Anifowoshe restored parity shortly after the restart. The point was enough to push Remo Stars Ladies back into a Super Six spot, with Abia Angels failing to pick up points.

In Asaba, Delta Queens edged Ahudiyannem Queens 2-1 in a tightly contested encounter. Olaitan Oladiti opened the scoring for the hosts before Mary Lucky levelled matters, but Chika Idika’s late winner ensured Delta took maximum points, handing Ahudiyannem their first defeat under coach Adanna Nwaneri.

Dannaz Ladies produced another important result, defeating Confluence Queens 1-0 in Iyahmo through Fatimoh Solaty’s second-half strike.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo Queens confirmed their Super Six place with a 2-0 victory over Naija Ratels. Esther Inyang opened the scoring before Atume Doosuur, scoring her 11th goal of the season, wrapped up the win late on as Edo cemented third place in Group A.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens played out a tense 0-0 draw in the South-South derby. The result leaves both sides level on points in Group A, having already booked their Super Six spots on Matchday 14.

Ekiti Queens also secured an important home win in Ado-Ekiti, beating Pacesetter Queens 2-0. Goals from Joke Adeyemi and Winifred Eyebhoria’s penalty either side of the break sealed the result.

The fixture between Ibom Angels and Heartland Queens at the Uyo Township Stadium was suspended in the 55th minute due to heavy rainfall and poor visibility. The match will resume from the point of interruption with the score still 0-0.

Table Implications

In Group A, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, and Edo Queens remain the dominant sides, all confirming their Super Six spots and all level on 31 points at the summit. Naija Ratels and Pacesetter Queens continue to struggle at the lower end of the table.

In Group B, FC Robo Queens maintain top spot with 31 points, but the gap remains tight as Nasarawa Amazons stay in pursuit on 26 points. Remo Stars Ladies climb into third place, while Abia Angels slip to fourth, with both sides locked on 24 points.

Delta Queens and Dannaz Ladies’ wins push them into mid-table, while Osun Babes’ recent results lift them off the bottom, leaving Confluence Queens bottom of the table on 14 points.

With three matches left, the battle between mid-table security and relegation remains tight.
