Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the PFA Women’s Super League (WSL) Fans’ Player of the Month for September 2025, www.aclsports.com reports.

The Brighton & Hove Albion shot-stopper has impressed in the Women’s Super League since joining from Paris FC this summer. She won Player of the Match in her debut against Aston Villa, keeping a clean sheet, and went on to record another shutout later in the month.

Across four games, she made 16 saves, showcasing incredible reflexes and composure between the posts. Her commanding presence has been vital for Brighton, helping the team secure crucial points so far this season.

Nnadozie faces stiff competition from a line-up of WSL attackers, including Chelsea’s Aggie Beever-Jones, Manchester United’s Melvine Malard, Arsenal’s Alessia Russo, Manchester City’s Bunny Shaw, and Tottenham Hotspur’s Cathinka Tandberg.

Fans across the league can vote for their favourite player, with the winner to be announced later this month. Nnadozie’s nomination underscores her rising influence in English football and her status as one of the world’s most promising goalkeepers.
