NWFL Premiership champions, Bayelsa Queens FC, have announced the signing of Ojiyovwi Keseina Tessy and Nwachukwu Prisca ahead of the 2025/26 season, www.aclsports.com reports.

Attacker Ojiyovwi Keseina Tessy joins Bayelsa Queens from Nasarawa Amazons, while midfielder Nwachukwu Prisca arrives from Imo Strikers after a productive loan spell with Heartland of Owerri during the 2024/25 campaign. Nwachukwu also featured for Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team in their recent 5–0 aggregate win over Rwanda in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

As Bayelsa Queens gear up for the upcoming NWFL Premiership season, the reigning champions are focused on retaining their title and reclaiming continental glory. The team will be eager to make amends after narrowly missing out on CAF Women’s Champions League qualification, following an 8–7 penalty shootout defeat to ASEC Mimosas in the WAFU-B final.
