The head coach of Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) volleyball team, Adamu Nitte has credited the team’s recent successes to their unwavering dedication and belief in their abilities.
Speaking after a successful run at the 2024 Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) Volleyball Premier League, Nitte shared insights into his team’s remarkable performance.
“Dedication and believing in ourselves created the motivation needed to achieve our goals.
“We’ve built a team that is committed to improving and working together, and that belief has been a major factor in our success.”
Nitte, however, emphasized that the journey was far from easy, particularly the challenges faced in the second phase of the competition.
“I told the players that the second phase is the most difficult. Every team will adjust their strategies and make changes, so we must not be carried away by the success of the first phase. We need to stay focused and work harder to overcome the new challenges we will face”, he told www.aclsports.com
Looking ahead, Nitte is already focused on improvements for the 2025 league.
“We will address the areas that need the most attention so that we can perform even better next season. Our goal is to continue our development, stay disciplined, and aim for even greater success.”
The coach also took the opportunity to thank the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nwakuche Ndidi and all those who have supported the team along the way.
“We really appreciate the support that has been given to us by the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nwakuche Ndidi. The belief that others have in our team drives us to push ourselves further.
“We promise to remain a disciplined team and to continue being great ambassadors for the Nigeria Correctional Service,” Nitte said.
“Through sports, we represent the image of the service, and we are proud to do so.”
