NFF confirms President Federation Cup playoff fixtures

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed the pairings for this year’s President Federation Cup playoff round, www.aclsports.com reports.

After the conclusion of the State FA Cups with the emergence of winners and runners-up, all is now set for the national competition, starting with the playoff stage.

In a document released by the NFF and signed by Ruth David, Director of Competitions, the first round of both the men’s and the women’s categories has been fixed for Wednesday, the 6th of May, and will be held across different centres.

In Abeokuta, G12 FC of Lagos have been paired with Osun State champions Dokkal Khairu FC. The game will be played at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta. Similarly, Sunshine Stars U19, who took the title in Ondo, will face Harmony FC from Ekiti in Osogbo.

In the other matches confirmed, Westgate (Edo) will come up against Amanda FC (Anambra) in Enugu, Zamfara United Feeders (Zamfara), and Kanta Warriors of Kebbi will trade tackles in Sokoto, while Adamawa Academy will face off with Elkanemi Jnr of Borno State in Bauchi. In the final game of the round, Sporting Supreme U19 of Abuja will travel to Lafia to play Reigners FC of Kogi State.

In the women’s category, NAF Queens FC (FCT) v Model Queen FC (Kwara), Kada Queens FC (Kaduna) v Mighty Jets Mata FC (Plateau), Bayelsa Princesses FC (Bayelsa) v Ikukuoma Queens FC (Imo), and Zorha Queens FC (Enugu) v Esthinghton FC (Ebonyi).
