Niger United player, Mohammed Anas said last position is not an option for Nigeria handball team preparing for the 2020 African Nation’s Cup in Tunisia.

Anas told www.aclsports.com that the team is 99% ready to take on their opponents.

The right winger said it an honour wearing the jersey of the country at the African Nations Cup.

He said, “For us as a team, last position is not an option. We have worked so hard from last year till this present moment, most of us in the team have been busy playing for our respective club while others represented the country at the U17 and U21 World Cup.

“I cannot say we are 100% ready, but I can tell you that we are 99% sure of what we could do, cause the team is stronger than I expected this time”.

He added that the 2021 Handball World Cup is on his mind and looking to a better season with Niger United this season.

Anas said, “First of all I thank God because is not by my power, knowledge or by my strength. It has been the will of God in my life over hardwork and my dream is to play at the 2021 World Cup. I am optimistic that Niger United will perform this season”.
