French champions, AS Monaco have reportedly rejected two Liverpool bids for their wide forward, Thomas Lemar.

The Reds’ latest offer was around £65million, having previously offered £55.5million for the player.

However, the French side have now rejected both offers, in the clearest indication that Lemar won’t be allowed to leave this summer.

Monaco continue to insist that no other players, including Lemar, will be leaving the club this summer, having lost a number of key players this summer, including three, Bernardo Silva, Timeoue Bakayoko and Benjamin Mendy,  who all moved to the PL this summer.

However, it does seems Kylian Mbappe is set for the capital to join rivals, Paris Saint-Germain, after Stefan Jovetic was pictured sporting the 18-year-old’s number 10 shirt at the club, ahead of a summer move.

Lemar, who has already been capped by France at international level, scored 12 times in 39 appearances last season for Monaco, as they claimed the Ligue 1 title for the first time in almost two decades.

He was also part of the team that  reached the last four in the Champions League.
