Head Coach Éric Chelle has called up Ikorodu City goalkeeper Michael Atata and 30 others to the Olympic Eagles’ training camp ahead of next month’s U23 AFCON qualifying encounter against the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports www.aclsports.com.
The two sides will meet in the first leg at TP Mazembe Stadium in Lubumbashi on Friday, 13th November, with the return leg at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne-Remo, on Tuesday, 17th November.
Chelle, who also has an AFCONQ double-header against Tanzania around the same period, has four goalkeepers, nine defenders, eight midfielders and 10 forwards on the roster.
Meanwhile, all the invited players are to report at the AM2PM Hotel, Ijebu-Ode on Sunday, 25th October.
