Nigerian winger Daddy Moses Simon has returned to first team training with his Spanish LaLiga side Levante ahead of the commencement of the second half of the 2018/19 league season in Spain on Friday.

Levante will kick start the remaining part of the season in the LaLiga Santander when they host Girona at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on Friday night.

Levante manager Paco López can now count on Moses Simon and Shaq Moore in the group dynamics after both started working with the rest of the team on Tuesday as time runs out for the return to competitive action.

The team have worked without the duo since their return from the holidays. The Nigerian attacker was absent for a few days due to family matters, while the North American side completed his recovery session.

Shaq did the first part of the training with Levante B, and later became part of the first team in the session coordinated by the B coach.

The squad will resume training on Thursday at the Ciudad de València and, later, manager Paco López will make the first appearance of the year with the press with his sight set on the match against Eusebio Sacristán’s wards and in a month of January that is full of league and Cup action.

Both Levante and Friday’s opponents, Girona are neck-on-neck on the LaLiga table with both teams having twenty-two (22) points apiece after seventeen round of matches.
