They cruised to a 40–0 triumph in the first match before following it up with a 24–8 victory in the second.

The 19-player squad traveling to Canada includes: Success Iyoha, Blessing Funmilayo Aladeyelu, Ukwuoma Endurance, Umude Blessing, Shondell Akhabue, Innocent Adaeza, Adeola King, Rukayat Akinade, Fedelia Omoghan, Daneyelle Shobanjo, Siobhan Sheerin, Faustina Akeje, Becky Okitikpe, Catherine Akeje, Rachel Iliya, Chinaza Abbah, Vera Pedro, Lauretta Bayere, and Abiola Obazuaye, with Aminah Oluwabunmi joining as development and injury cover.
