As the 2025 President Federation Cup semi-finals approach, Ibom Angels’ first-choice goalkeeper Godstime Dickson has voiced strong confidence in her team’s readiness for their clash against arch-rivals Rivers Angels, www.aclsports.com reports.

Speaking to the club’s media team ahead of the much-anticipated match scheduled for 1 p.m. this Saturday at the Enyimba International Stadium, Dickson affirmed that the team is physically and mentally prepared for the encounter.

“We’re not leaving any stone unturned,” Dickson said. “We’re ready to give our best to scale through to the final of this year’s competition.”

Dickson, who was pivotal in the quarterfinal victory over Heartland Queens FC with two critical penalty saves, acknowledged the unpredictability of shootouts but emphasized her resolve. “When it comes to penalty kicks, it’s no man’s game but 50-50. But I will always do my best.”

With the memory of past finals still fresh, Rivers Angels bested Ibom Angels in both the 2017 and 2018 editions, Dickson and her teammates are seeking redemption and a spot in the final. She called on the fans to maintain their unwavering support.

“I am assuring our dear fans that they should not relent in giving the team their regular maximum support, as we will get there for real. With our preparations for this crucial match so far, I know we can make it as we are prepared for the fight.”

Ibom Angels enter the semi-final in strong form, led by their top scorer Abasiofon Uwah with 7 goals. Ijeoma Onweangba has added 5 goals to her name, while Ayishat Raheem, Victory Jacob, and Ugobest Osuji each have 2 goals. Eyitemi Omagbemi rounds out the scoring list with a goal of her own.

With history, pride, and a place in the final on the line, all eyes will be on Enyimba International Stadium this Saturday for what promises to be a thrilling Federation Cup encounter.
