Super Eagles duo of Isaac Success and Leon Balogun will not be facing any of the Manchester clubs after the Emirates FA Cup reached its quarterfinal stage on Monday night.

The draw, which was made following the final match of the fifth round between Manchester United and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, saw the two Nigerians kept away from United and their city rivals, City.

Success’ Watford, who saw off the challenge of Queens Park Rangers on Friday, will face fellow Premier League side, Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road.

For Balogun and Brighton & Hove Albion, it is a date with Millwall, the lowest ranked team left in the competition, that stands between them and a place in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, for the third successive round, Manchester United will have to navigate a tricky away tie after they were handed another road trip.

United put up a wonderful performance to see off holders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge thanks to two headed goals from Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils after that result will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarterfinal while their neighbors, Manchester City, will also join them on the road as they travel to the Liberty Stadium to tackle Swansea City.

All the quarterfinal matches will take place in the second week of March, between the 15-18.
