Brighton & Hove Albion Women have announced the signing of Nigerian international goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, www.aclsports.com reports.
The 24-year-old will officially join the club on July 1 after her contract with Paris FC expires, pending standard regulatory approval.
Nnadozie made 118 appearances for Paris FC after joining from Rivers Angels in 2020. She played a decisive role in their 2025 Coupe de France Féminine triumph, making two crucial penalty saves in the final against PSG.
In 2024, she became the first African to win the D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Year award, following a standout season that included 16 UEFA Women’s Champions League appearances.
Speaking on her move to England, Nnadozie said:
“I’m excited to join Brighton and begin this new chapter. I want to help the team achieve great things.”
Head coach Dario Vidosic praised the new signing, saying,
“Chiamaka is a talented and commanding goalkeeper who brings consistency and confidence. Her top-level experience will add real strength to our squad as we build for the new season.”
Before her move to Europe, Nnadozie starred for Rivers Angels, winning the Nigerian Women’s Premier League and domestic cups.
For now, her focus will be on national duty as she looks to help the Super Falcons secure a record-extending 10th WAFCON title.
From Port Harcourt to Paris and now Brighton, Nnadozie’s career continues its upward rise as she prepares for the next chapter in the Women’s Super League.
