One of only two Nigerian women to have scored at all international tournaments, Francesca Ordega tells how she started, what has driven her in her career so far. She is also very clear in her appreciation of where she started from and those who have helped her along the way. What is not in doubt is how courageous, determined but very clear in her desire to be successful in her career.
Her mother’s doubts, her early coaches who thought she was too small did not deter her. Left home at 16 to go forge a career in Ebonyi state.
