Nigerian forward, Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah, has been awarded the Foreign Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the 2024/2025 season in the Lega Basket Femminile (LBF), www.aclsports.com reports.

The BCC Derthona Basket star received the honours on Saturday, October 4, during the LBF Oscars in Italy, after finishing the season with double-double averages.

Beyond club success, the 28-year-old forward played a key role for Nigeria’s D’Tigress, helping the team secure a fifth consecutive FIBA Women’s AfroBasket title in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire in August.

Looking ahead, she will be hoping to play a key role for BCC Derthona Basket in the 2025/2026 season, bringing her experience and scoring ability to help the club challenge for top honours.
