“I am already working on modalities to support our athletes to secure quality education and to develop their God given human capacity”.

He said the youth games or sports festival is beyond just winning medals rather the primary aim is the discovery and grooming of young talent to international level.

Meanwhile, Minister for Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare described the performance of the athletes as the sign of better things to come in Nigeria sports sector asserting that the future was bright.

He however warned against age cheats saying the Ministry will henceforth institute scientific methods to check such occurrences in the forthcoming Games.
