NWFL Premiership champions Edo Queens have completed the signing of forward Oluwakemi Adegbuyi from FC Robo Queens, www.aclsports.com reports.
The 16-year-old joins the reigning champions after a stellar 2025/26 campaign in which she was named NWFL Premiership Player of the Season. Adegbuyi scored 11 goals for Robo Queens and announced herself on the Super Six stage with three goals on her debut in the competition.
Her outstanding performances at club level earned her a call-up to Nigeriaβs U-17 womenβs national team, the Flamingos. She went on to score four goals in four matches as the team secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Womenβs World Cup in Morocco.
Before establishing herself as one of the leagueβs brightest young talents, Adegbuyi also spent part of her development years at the Asisat Oshoala Academy.
Adegbuyi now joins Edo Queens ahead of a busy campaign that will see the Benin-based club represent Nigeria at the CAF Womenβs Champions League WAFU B qualifiers as they bid for a place in the continental championship.
