Nigeria’s Adaobi Tabugbo, stormed to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Grande Prêmio Brasil de Atletismo in São Paulo, clocking 12.90 seconds.

The 23-year-old hurdler finished ahead of Brazil’s Ketiley Batista, who ran 13.00s for second place, while Vitoria Batista claimed third in 13.02s.

The win highlights Tabugbo’s sharp early-season form and growing confidence on the international stage.

Since her days as a promising junior, Tabugbo has steadily risen through the ranks, and her latest triumph in Brazil cements her status as one of Nigeria’s most exciting sprint hurdlers.
