Chile international, Alexis Sanchez, is finally a Manchester United player, the club has confirmed. In a classic video posted on the club’s official social media account, United unveiled their latest star, who joins from rivals, Arsenal, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal,” the club said in an official statement.

Sanchez, who had just six months left on his contract at the Emirates, has since put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Red Devils, which will see him at the club until the summer of 2022.

“Alexis is one of the best attacking players in the world and he will complete our very young and talented group of attacking players,” club manager, José Mourinho said.

For the 29-year-old former Barcelona star, the opportunity to play for the 20-times Premier League champions was too good to turn down

“I am thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world,” Sanchez said. “The chance to play in this historic stadium and to work with Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down.”

However, the ex-Arsenal forward wasn’t the only one thrilled by the transfer, as fans of the English giants took to their social media accounts to welcome the Chilean.

Here are some of the best reactions as monitored by YourSportsMemo.

I love love love the Sanchez unveiling video. Perfect in so many ways.

He played Glory Glory Man United on the piano fam. The fucking piano. Then he heaved a sigh of relief. It’s so beautiful. So fucking beautiful.

— Big Daddy Gersh (@__gershom) January 22, 2018

I’m fully obsessed with that Alexis announcement video 🔥

— Lydie (@NyiraLydieMUFC) January 22, 2018

Thank you Thomas Lemar for helping Manchester United sign Alexis Sanchez. #MUFC #Alexis7

The difference between Arsenal and Man Utd's marketing is staggering.

Utd use a slick as hell video of Alexis playing "Glory Man Utd" on piano whilst staring up at Old Trafford, (which has just cut me straight to the fucking core, by the way.)

Arsenal post a link to an article.

Gosh Sanchez played the piano like he’s been practicing the song every night before he goes to bed believing his dream will come true one day

Right side of the attack: can beat his man out wide, can finish, can create, can press, can drift in the middle to create overloads

Behind the Striker: Can dribble, create, tear net, press, passing interplays, drift wide, etc

Striker: Can tear the fucking net and create.

Losing a key player for a bench warmer shows you aren't amongst A-list clubs in Europe. It's not about owning a 60k capacity stadium. The big boys still come there and take all 3 points.

Sanchez looking at the jersey like....

Lol, FA should fine us for that unveiling ad for Mkhitaryan... Or ban us sef

— Bryan Tosin (@olatostar) January 22, 2018

Oh my God. So this is why the announcement took so long because this man was learning how to play Glory Glory Man United on the piano pic.twitter.com/HSRuD1fcyg

Not time to throw subs but as an arsenal fan u gotta worry bout your clubs ambition if they keep seeking their best players at their peak&letting some run down contracts. Forget whoever club brings in to sell your best player in January sends terrible msg.

Alexis Sánchez got tired of wearing body hugs at Arsenal, he had to run away to a club with a proper jersey #Alexis7 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/JUxT0Og7te

— IKUKU_UTD (@vinneyville) January 22, 2018

That video’s got me really excited about #Alexis7 but now we have to wait until Friday before anything happens and I’m just sitting here buzzing.
