Nigeria Correction Service team formerly known as Prisons deservedly defeated Sunshine Spikers 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-19) on Day 2 of the ongoing National Volleyball League Division one in Bauchi.

The head coach of Nigeria Correction Boys, Adamu Nitte said the result against Sunshine Spikers was not a fluke attributing the feat to hard work and determination.

He said the correction boys belong to the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.

Nitte said, “Sunshine Spikers beat us in Kwara by 3-1 and when we got back home, the team returned to the drawing board. And to the glory of God, the team camped for close to three months and the world can see the result of adequate camping.
