If you are an Arsenal fan, Twitter is not the place to be right now after a disaster class performance in the Europa League against city rivals Chelsea in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Wednesday.

A poor Arsenal side was easily brushed aside 4-1 by a brilliant second half performance from Chelsea inspired by their Belgian magician, Eden Hazard.

After a listless first half which ended goalless, a rejuvenated Chelsea side put on a show with Hazard scoring two goals, including a penalty, and assisting another goal scored by former Arsenal forward, Olivier Giroud.

Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi, pulled one back for the Gunners but it was nothing but a consolation for the North London side managed by three-time Europa League winner, Unai Emery.

Spaniard, Pedro Rodriguez, was the other scorer for the Blues as they claimed their second title in Europe’s second-tier club competition.

Following their performance in the final, Twitter users have taken to their various accounts to troll Arsenal and their players, and we have some of the best reactions.

Arsenal has never won a European title before but despite hiring a serial winner like Emery, the search continues.

You see that Arsenal football club? Tueh!! They even hired an Europa League expert still yet no shii! Shithouse of London!

Emery knows how to win Europa. Yen yen yen 😀

The Gunners were without Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the trip to Baku due to political tension between Mkhitaryan’s Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Therefore, according to this user below, the Gunners apparently spent more time protesting Mkhitaryan’s absence rather than train.

Instead of them to train they were protesting Mhki

Well then

The real winner here is Henrikh

Didn't travel to some Bermuda village to disgrace himself

— kenna (@kennagq) May 29, 2019

Having missed out on Champions League qualification via the league, the Gunners were hoping to go through the Europa League as winners but that has now backfired.

So Arsenal thought they were gonna leave @ManUtd all alone in the Europa league next season? No nau! Shey na d two both of us finish below top4 🤪

Now, some premium trolling…

How you go chop 4-1 for finals?

Must you expose yourself as European trophy JJC?

— Latifat Adebayo-Ohio (@Phatill) May 29, 2019

Arsenal planned a parade for this hehe

— xo (@h25xo) May 29, 2019

How’d that historic European final go for you gooner? Aubame-bloodclart-yang masterclass?

In my opinion, conceding four goals in a final is very unprofessional.

Trust me, Manchester United fans are loving this and are happy the Red Devils won’t be walking alone in the Europa League.

So Arsenal thought they were gonna leave @ManUtd all alone in the Europa league next season? No nau! Shey na d two both of us finish below top4 🤪

Finally, some deserved praise for Iwobi, who came off the bench to score Arsenal’s consolation goal.

Iwobi the best Gunner on the pitch... By a mile

— Tea (@thic_tea) May 29, 2019

IWOBI just pulled the ASISAT OSHOALA stuff there 😊😊😊👍🏽👍🏽.....I see you bro @alexiwobi 💪🏾💪🏾

— ASISAT M.O.N (@AsisatOshoala) May 29, 2019

Unreal goal Iwobi. Been our best player and he has played 2 minutes.
