Ahead of their all important NPFL week 10 clash, Sunshine Stars captain, Sunday Abe, says there is nothing special about their hosts, Mountain of Fire and Miracles, MFM FC.

The Akure based outfit are in Lagos for a top of the table battle with their Southwest rivals, MFM, who are just three points ahead of them in Group A.

With a chance to leapfrog the Olukoya Boys, Abe is upbeat about his team’s chances on Wednesday evening at the Soccer Temple and believes the improved officiating in the NPFL gives the Owena Whales a very good chance against the home side.

“No team is special,” Abe began. “In our last game, we lost points at home, so, we are here- thank God for the referees, they are improving now, so, I believe there is no home or away ”

On what to expect from the home side, Abe, who was coy on their plan for the encounter, says he expects a very good game from the team coached by Fidelis Ilechukwu but was quick to add that Sunshine Stars are in Lagos for three points.

“We expect a good game tomorrow [today] and we are here to make sure we claim our three points,” he added. “Our plan [to claim all three points] is with us until we get on the pitch on Wednesday.”

The game between MFM and Sunshine Stars is billed for 4pm on Wednesday at the Soccer Temple stadium in Agege, Lagos.
