Plateau United were the biggest winners of the Nigeria Premier Football League on match day 27, as they thumped visiting 3SC of Ibadan 4-1 in Jos, www.aclsports.com reports.

In a highly charged reunion clash, Gbenga Ogunbote faced his former side, Shooting Stars, for the first time since parting ways with the Ibadan-based outfit. But there was little sentiment on display, as the Tin City boys delivered a ruthless performance, emphatically dismantling the Oluyole Warriors at the New Jos Stadium.

3SC raced into an early lead through Qamar Adegoke, but the home side rallied back with goals from Tarabina Biweribo and Daniel Isaiah before second-half goals from Vincent Temitope and Alao Dabani saw out a rampant win for the home side.

In Lagos, Ikorodu City fought back to play out a 1-1 draw with visiting Bayelsa United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena. The home side trailed at halftime through Ettah Ikoi’s goal before substitute and debutant Olanrewaju Molade curled home a free kick to secure a point for the home side.

In what was the biggest game of the weekend, Rivers United and Enyimba also played out a 1-1 draw in Port Harcourt. The Elephants went into the lead through Abiodun Joseph, but the home side equalised via Aniekeme Okon just before the break. It ended goalless between Katsina United and Rangers, and it was the same outcome between Warri Wolves and Barau FC.
