World Taekewondo champion, Ruth Gbagbi (-62kg) has expressed her readiness for the World Grand Prix in Rabat, Morocco which runs through from September 22 to 24, 2017.

The Olympic bronze medalist thanked her country, Ivory Coast and her fans for their support and prayers.

The Captain of the Ivorian team of Taekwondo said today (Wednesday) marks the end of her workout before the Grand Prix.

Ruth on her social media page said, “Hi friends, Last (sic) workout before the GRAND PRIX SERIES 2 which will take place from 22 to 24 September in Rabat. Thank you for supporting me and carrying me in prayer as you has always done. See you on September 22th for the day I pass.”

Gbagbi, winner of the recent under 62kg title at the recent World Championships in Muju, South Korea outclassed Tatar to top the podium at the USK CSKA Basketball Arena.

The Rabat 2017 GP is the first Grand Prix ever in continent of Africa.
