Super Falcons forward, Francesca Ordega has completed her transfer to Shanghai, China from Washington Spirit. According to reports, the 2018 AWCON winning star has signed a one year deal with Shanghai – a Chinese based top flight team after running out of contract with Washington Spirit in the United States of America.

The 25-year-old attacker joined Washington Spirit DC in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2015 and after four years in which she scored 13 times in 63 appearances, the Super Falcons star has ended her stay with the American side.

With this transfer, Ordega becomes the third African to move to the Far East after South African duo of Thembi Kgatlana and Linda Motlhalo joined Beijing Phoenix last week.

The former Atletico Madrid player is currently on national duty with the Super Falcons at the Cyprus Women’s Cup where she grabbed an assist in today’s win over Slovakia.
