The Refereeing Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the appointment of 16 match officials for the 2025 Nigeria National League, NNL Super Eight, www.aclsports.com reports.

The pool of 16 referees include five centre referees, eight assistant referees and three other referees who will serve in both capacities during the week-long tournament.

Solomon Aweng of Plateau State, his counterparts from Kaduna and Katsina councils; Bashir Adamu and Abubakar Zubairu respectively. Anthony Eze of the FCT Council and Faro Abdulrahman of Lagos make up the list of centre referees from the elite division- Nigeria Premier Football League.

Meanwhile, Stanley Chibuiko (Enugu), Henry Osuomon (Edo) and Kalu Ezichi (Abia) will serve as centre referees or assistant referees during the tournament.

The pool of assistant referees include Zamfara duo of Mohammed Ibrahim and Aminu Mammaga, while there is Zachariah Nde and Dahiru Muazu of Akwa Ibom and Adamawa respectively. Shittu Toheeb (Ogun), Igwe Emmanuel (Rivers ) Eze Chinonso (Anambra) and Ciroma Bukar (Borno) completed the cast.

The NNL Super Eight will run from July 5 to July 12 in Asaba, Delta State. The week-long tournament will feature the eight teams competing for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
