The Super Eagles of Nigeria are back in business, after a wonderful second half performance earned them a deserved 2-0 win over Iceland in Russia.
It was Nigeria’s second game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and they needed nothing but victory following that disappointing loss to Croatia in the opening game.
After a dull first half which saw the Eagles record zero shots, the Nigerians, led by Ahmed Musa, turned on the screws to blow off their Icelandic counterparts after the break.
Musa netted two beautiful goals, including his second, a wonderful solo effort which saw him e past a sea of Iceland defenders, before rounding up the goalkeeper to calmly put the game beyond the European.
That victory saw Nigerians take to their social media accounts to react to what is a crucial win for the nation.
Here are some of the best reactions;
We start off with these tweets which aptly captured the display of captain, John Mikel Obi, who returned to his defensive midfield role.

Those were two well taken goals by Musa though. The pace, composure and confidence he exhibited for the second goal were uncanny.

I'm sure Musa is good in the bed from the way he took that second goal. Very patient, caressing the ball, moving it, caressing it before the shot.
