Three times National Champion, Evelyn Paragon said she is excited retaining her crown at four consecutive National Sports Festivals.

Paragon won one gold medal for Delta state in the Class 4 of the female Para Table Tennis event at the 2018 National Sports Festival in Abuja.

The Asaba based player told www.aclsports.com that she started her career and made her debut at the 2004 National Sports Festival in Abuja winning her first gold medal.

She said, “When I won the Class 4 gold medal in Abuja, I was excited because I won my first gold medal 14 years ago at the 2004 National Sports Festival in Abuja too.

“At my second Sports Festival 2009 Kaduna Games, I won 1 gold, 1 silver and I bronze medals while my greatest feat was at the 2011 National Sports Festival in Port Harcourt were I won 3 gold medals”.

Paragon revealed that she is yet to reach the peak of her career.

She said, “I am not where I want to be yet in Para Table Tennis, but I trust the process and will be better with time”.
