The head coach Plateau Peacocks Yusuf Abdulkadri has dedicated the Prudent Energy Handball trophy to ex international, Jubril Saidu and Plateau state government.

Plateau Peacocks emerge league champions in the female category and will represent Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Club Championships.

Abdulkadri told www.aclsports.com that the Vice chairman of Mega Veterans Handball club, Jubril Saidu singlehandedly reconstructed the Jos Township Handball Court six months before the Prudent Energy Handball League.

He added that the state government was also supportive before the league.

He said, “I will love to dedicate this trophy to ex international, Jibril Saidu who built a handball court in Jos six months ago. After the renovation, I and the team promised to win the league as a way of saying thank you to him.

“The state government also played a role by camping us for months before the first and second phases of the league”.

He said, “It is a dream come true lifting the prudent energy league and this one of the most memorable days of my life. I want to give all the glory to Almighty Allah. We had plans for all our opponents in the second phase; we studied our strengths and weaknesses, picking advantages of our opportunities too.
