Nigerian track queen, Blessing Okagbare-Ighotegunor secured her maiden win at the IAAF Diamond League in Stanford, USA on Sunday.

Running from lane 8, Okagbare-Ighotegunor picked up from the bend quickly to lead the race and eventually finished with a season’s best of 22.05 seconds in the 200m at the Cobb Track and Angell Field, Stanford.

It marked a successive win for Okagbare who recorded her first victory at the IAAF Diamond League in Rabat two weeks ago.
