Robo Queens, Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens maintained their winning runs, as matches across the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership on Wednesday produced goals and drama, www.aclsports.com reports.

In Lagos, Robo Queens continued their perfect start at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena with a commanding 5-1 victory over Dannaz Ladies in a South-West Derby. Kemi Adegbuyi opened the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by Tosin Rafiu (9′) to give Robo an early advantage.

Augusta Chukwuma pulled one back for Dannaz in the 26th minute, marking the first time Robo had conceded this season, but Opeyemi Ajakaiye’s goals in the 35th and 65th minutes restored their lead. Rodiat Yusuf rounded off the scoring in the 85th minute, sealing a dominant performance.

Like Robo, Rivers Angels maintained their 100% record with a 1-0 win over South-South rivals Ibom Angels in Port Harcourt, with Ramotalahi Kareem scoring the winner in the 55th minute to continue her scoring run.

Defending champions Bayelsa Queens, also claimed a 2-0 win over Pacesetters Queens in Yenegoa, with Blessing Ilivieda converting a penalty in the 17th minute before Aminat Folorunsho doubled the lead just before half-time.

Edo Queens recorded a 2-0 victory over Adamawa Queens at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City. Chioma Moses converted a first-half penalty, and Atume Doosur scored in the 75th minute, marking her third consecutive goal of the season. The defeat handed Adamawa Queens their first loss of the campaign.

In Abuja, Naija Ratels and Heartland Queens played out a 2-2 draw. Onu Markwell and Paulina Orshio gave Naija Ratels a 2-0 first-half lead, but Emmanuella James and Faith Samson fought back in the second half to secure a point for Heartland Queens.

At the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta Queens defeated Confluence Queens 3-1. Destiny Itobore opened the scoring in the 7th minute, Confluence’s Seember Emmanuel equalised in the 63rd, but Tsebee Rita Seember (80′) and Amarachukwu Onuorah (85′) ensured all three points for Delta.

Nasarawa Amazons and Abia Angels played out a goalless draw in Lafia, while Ahudiyannem Queens were held 0-0 by Sunshine Queens in Umuahia, leaving Ahudiyannem still searching for their first goal of the season. In Ile-Ogbo, Remo Stars Ladies maintained their defensive perfection with a 0-0 draw against Osun Babes, keeping them as the only team yet to concede this term.

The league will now go on a break, with action resuming on 7 January 2026.
