Six-time African Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala, was again the standout performer as she fired Al Hilal into the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup final with a 6–2 victory over Al Ahli on Wednesday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Oshoala, who scored a hat-trick in the quarter-finals, delivered back-to-back treble performances as she netted another sensational hat-trick to inspire Al Hilal and continue her prolific run in the competition.

The Nigerian forward led the line with authority, constantly troubling the Al Ahli defence throughout the contest. She got on the scoresheet in the first half as Al Hilal went into the break with a 2–0 lead, before completing her hat-trick in the second half to cap a commanding display.

Her goals proved decisive in a high-scoring encounter, underlining her importance to the Riyadh-based side as they continue their push for silverware.

Meanwhile, in the other semi-final, Super Falcons defenders Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega were on the losing side as Al Nassr thrashed Al Ittihad 5–0, producing a ruthless display to set up a mouth-watering final clash. Al Ahli will face Al Ittihad in the third-place match on Saturday, 20 December.

With Oshoala in red-hot form, Al Hilal will be hoping to cap their impressive cup run by lifting the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup trophy when they face Al Nassr in the final on Saturday.
