Echegini’s goal came during PSG’s 1–1 draw against Benfica in Portugal. She opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Carole Costa converted a penalty won by Lucia Alves in the 32nd minute. Christy Ucheibe remained an unused substitute for Benfica, while Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade continues to be sidelined with injury. Both PSG and Benfica, already eliminated, finished the league phase without a win, earning just two points each from six matches, with PSG in 17th and Benfica in 16th place.
Meanwhile in Italy, Babajide provided the assist for Alayah Pilgrim’s opening goal as AS Roma went into the break 2–0 ahead against St. Pölten. Evelyne Viens completed her hat-trick in the second half, helping Roma secure a 6–1 victory and climb to 14th place in the standings.
